For years, artist Drew Friedman has chronicled a strange, alternate universe populated by forgotten Hollywood stars, old Jewish comedians and liver-spotted elevator operators. Drew Friedman: Vermeer of the Borscht Belt is an in-depth documentary tracing artist Friedman's evolution from underground comics to the cover of The New Yorker. The film, directed by Kevin Dougherty, features interviews with Friedman's friends and colleagues, including Gilbert Gottfried, Patton Oswalt, Richard Kind, Mike Judge, Merrill Markoe and many others.

Comedy based on Hercules.

When Masha attempts to follow her Russian grandmother’s Borscht recipe, her ancestors hailing from all corners of Eastern Europe, materialize from the pot to claim the soup as their own. An argument over the most ethnically authentic recipe soon turns to bloody, all-out war.

A young woman's night unravels into chaos after she accidentally locks herself into a chastity belt during a house party and loses the key.

The film explores and attempts to decipher the complex ornaments encoded in the traditional folk costume accessory, Lielvārde’s belt, drawing parallels with ancient cultures in Japan, China, Egypt, and elsewhere.
